Our Mission
Friends of Fulton Mansion is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the preservation of historic Fulton Mansion in Rockport, Texas.
Built between 1874 and 1877, the Fulton Mansion is one of the finest examples of French Second Empire architecture in the United States. It features a number of unique construction methods and advanced mechanical systems that were far ahead of their time in Texas, including a gas lighting system, central heating, and indoor plumbing with hot and cold running water.
Today, the Friends of Fulton Mansion make educational and community events like Music at the Mansion, Winter Workshops, and the Fall Lecture Series possible through their generous donations and tireless volunteer work.
